Im playing varsity baseball at a prep school in new england and im a freshman. ive been playing since i was about 7 or 8. Im asking because i cant get a truthful answer out of my dad without him being overly optimistic so im asking you.

I haven't played baseball in two years,but I want to try out for my school team next year.So what can I do to get good again.
Plus I'm not asking how to get in shape cause I'm already at a good weight and good strenght for my age.
I'm 11and 5 ft 6 and 115 pounds and can lift about 30 more pounds then all my friends

I had the most distressing dream last night. I dreamt that joe torre from the nyy (new york yankees) was in my room standing by my picture of The Skyline Of Boston and was a nyy baseball hat floated over my bed. Any thoughts? I am a devoted Boston Red Sox Fan. I also love The Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins.

As in pitchers throwing speeds, home to first runnung, stealing second, home third cause im 14 years old and i can get from home to first in 4.16 seconds and i wanted to know major leaguers so i can compare.

In general do you think today's pitchers are as good, or better, than those from , say, the 60's???

My opinion is, no way.
Then, they started every 4 days, now , every 5,
Then, many complete games, today, pitchers may do one or two a season.
Then, pitchers had to hit, today except in the NL, there are DH's.

This is a Backup Question really...

I currently have Hudson (AZ) as my 2nd Base Back up, but Kendrick is very tempting to just add on... Currently I have Francoer (Atlanta) as a Back Up Outfield, but I also have Swisher (Oak) and Youkilis (Bos)... So I'm thinken of Trading Francoer for Kendrick, just as Extra Back Ups...
