joelzumaya54 did you overlook Placido Polanco?? The best contact hitter on the team and in my opinion the best fielder.

100 games?
Not likely.
Now when they have to play KC, Cleveland, and Minnesota
19 times each.

Even if the pitching holds up we'd have to beat The Twins & The Indians more often than not, and those 2 teams will be in the mix all year.

Last year they won 95, and I see a slight drop off (92/93).

I do know that The Tigers will win more games the whiny sux.

I think the Tigers will come close to 100 but will not make 100. They have a pitching staff that has been upgraded but thier lineup still has holes in it. They need a beter 2nd baseman Nefi Perez just isn't gonna cut it. Sean Casey is good but he isn't that strong of a feilder or a power hitter. Sheffield will do wonders for the team and so will the good arm of Jose Mesa. Mesa is another good pitcher that is in the bullpen. Fernado Rodney, Joel Zumaya, and Todd Jones are just some of the people who Mesa will be in the bullpen with.

I hope so, that would be great, but I'd really like to see them go to the world series again no matter how many games they win. Hopefully the returning guys like Polanco, Guillen, Ordonez, Rogers and Verlander will have a great year like they did last year along with the new guys! Go Tigers!

That division is too balanced for the Tigers to win 100 games.
look for 87 to 92 wins.

Im not a tiger fans, but i think that's it possible(i guess), though i don't think 3 players could win 100 games for you.
