I'm a Yankee fan living in Pittsburgh and the Yanks STILL aren't going to play here. Last year the Yanks finally played the NL Central and they played the Pirates in NY.

This year they are playing the NL Central again and the games are in NY, AGAIN!

Why are they doing it like this???

How is the team looking?
Who did we pick up in the off season?
Who are we hopefull about? Who do we wish would go away.
Whats are ptiching like? Whats the key to this season.
Any Info you feel a "die hard" fan should know.

Thank You!

Would there be as many if there were no D.H. at all? By the way, don't assume anything,as I have mixed feelings about the D.H.

If Ichiro keeps up his 200 hits a year pace for 5 more seasons he will have roughly 3200 international hits. Should he be considered among the all time greatest and be elected to the hall of fame. Many other individuals have had their records from other leagues count when it came to introduction.

For the record, I'd be against replay in the MLB. It's our pasttime, and to update it with in-game replays seems to be an anachronism.

Part of the game is reliance on an ump and his occasional mistakes. It makes it interesting.

My son currently has an Anderson Techfire double wall bat that I bought for him last year. Its a little heavy for him, so I want to get a lighter bat. What is the best one to get?

I know there's the long standing Red Sox rivalry, but as an Angels fan I 've got to think we must be up there as well. I'm curious to hear what the Yankee fans think. Best of luck to all teams this season!

Assume their prime years.
I'd probably go with:
1. Walter Johnson
2. Sandy Koufax
3. Warren Spahn
4. Christy Mathewson
5. Bob Gibson
And Eckersley as my closer.

If you were a television sports announcer and the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, how would you say on television that the Chicago Cubs finally won the World Series?

I would say "I cannot believe it, the Chicago Cubs have won the World Series. Holy Cow!. Cubs Win! The American Economy is coming back to strenght because the Cubs just won the World Series."

American Economy is coming back to strenght, I believe that if the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, it would help the American Economy because the merchandise that says "Chicago Cubs, World Series Champions" would sell out quickly and the sales of merchandise would help out retailers nationwide.

I was in disbelief when the Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 2007 and I was saying to myself "John Kerry's Team just won the World Series, John Kerry's Team just won the World Series" because at that time, Massachusetts Senator and Presidential Candidate John Kerry was from Boston and he is a Boston Red Sox Fan.
