don't you think catchers should have high battin averges? they probobly can recognize many pitches faster because the are used to seein them. i guess fatigue affects them too. what do u think?

wife and i would like to go to a yankee game. we live in NC - if we drive up, could we stay 30-40 miles out and then drive to the stadium? or is that not a good idea? where would we park, how safe is it?

My father and I (both Red Sox fans) are going to Spring Training this year for the first time. I'm wondering what there is to do in the Fort Myers area (or surrounding areas) when we're not at the game. Does the park there offer tours like Fenway? Any other must-see parks within a couple hour drive? Just looking for anything to do while we're there, baseball related or not. Thanks very much for the help.

On which channel ( I live in NJ) you just have to give me the network channel name are the Yankees playing on today? Their games are usually LIVE on Yes Network, but I don't think so today b/c I think the Nets are on tonight on that channel. So what channel is the Yankees game on?

My aunt obtained this ball at spring training in 1962 or 1963 and gave it to me. Ive had it since then.. SIgned by an assortement of players, mainly the KC Athletics, signatures include other than above , Jerry Lumpe, Waye Causey, Gordy Windhorn, JIm Lemon, Tudie Lesson, Ed Rakow, Bill Kunkel, Art Ditmar, Jerry Walker and others.. Anyone know what this ball is worth. Williams signature is largest of course.
