The marlins are full of talent, especially young unexpierienced talent. They have a strong pitching staff of Willis and Johnson along with a good offense with Cabrera, Uggla, Ramirez and Josh Willingham. These are all young players who are going to really amount to something. The only problem is with such a stacked NY Mets this year along with the Phillies in their division, a world series seems a little farfetched but i would not look past them becaus in three or four years this wont be a team to be messing with.

ok hear up, bias fan how are you able to call the Philles, Mets, Cardinals, Brewers, Yanks, Sox, and Twins all pretenders whilst they have a much greater effective checklist than the Marlins. So are you moreover mght asserting the Marlins are purely pretending losers? Dont even call the Angels a sham, they might whoop the Fish up and down Tallahassee. they have pitching and offense. Im an A's fan, so it somewhat is not a bias remark what-so-ever. And who cares if it form of feels the Angels play in a vulnerable divison, they nonetheless own the terrific checklist in baseball ceremony now. Rays and crimson Sox basically respectable communities? they have ruled baseball this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days simply by fact the April. And Marlins international sequence champs? they actually could desire to improve the eating age of that state.

They are i believe the youngest team in the MLB, they showed us what they could do last year with all the young talent they got in return for shipping out all their vets.
M. Cabrera is their best hitter with a .339avg last year an he is easily one of the best young hitters in the mlb.
D. Uggla and H. Ramirez played a huge role for the marlins last year and they will need to be key again this year so they give cabrera a chance to bat them in.
D. Willis is who needs to get into high gear and keep his 3.87 era down a little...
I say when cabrera and willis get into their prime in a year or 2 they will be playing right behind the mets to battle for the nl east and if they can do that there is no reason why they shouldn't have a run for the world series.

I do not think this is their year. They have young talent thats not really been proven to be any threat. No doubt their team will probably do good, but not good enough.

not this year. they have good young talent. but with young talent comes inexperience. I think that they need a solid veteran pitcher to anchor their staff
