Mark McGwire will be in, Barry Bonds will be in. Everyone should stop crying about it. Whatever McGwire did or didn't take, it wasn't against the rules of the time he was playing. You can't fault him for doing something there was no rule against. As for Bonds, there is no positive test with his name on it, so let's not convict him without proof. If you want to talk about cheaters, Gaylord Perry is a Hall of Famer who had a decent fastball, a below average curve, and a spitball. Should he be removed for cheating? Or how about George Brett, he used a loaded bat at times. I'm sure that there are people in all HOFs that have done something that goes against what everyone else would like.

no way should bonds be in the hall of fame if you going to let him in let pete rose in he never used any to help him perform better and if bonds beat hanks home run record he should have an asteric that say that he was a cheater parents dont want there kids to look up to pill popper. the only reason the MLB doesnt do any thing about it is because there having trouble feeling the stands. MLB need to step up to bat

If the best players in baseball like Bonds and Pete Rose aren't in the Hall of Fame there's really no point in having one.

Yes he will make it in, no he won't be a first ballot. Until he is more up front with the media and stops dancing, they will make him sweat it out. McGwire won't make it, Palmeiro might, because of what he would be going in for. The fact is that this is voted on out of an opinion. McGwire's whole career is based around controversy. Bonds would have gone in before the allegations, and they cannont prove it. They can't keep him out forever, they will black ball McGwire. Bonds will go in.

Simple. If the writers won't vote in McGwire, who like Bonds obviously used steroids although we have no solid evidence, then they have no business voting in Bonds. Bonds is merely McGwire with a bad attitude and less injuries.
