They will probably want way too much money. Try Goofy, he only wants 900K a year.

What they should do if they don't win the world series this year is to sign a GOAT and have him play LF(Steve bartman), or SS( when Alex Gonzalez let the ball go through his legs) b/c those were the last 2 times where the Curse struck.
O and the reason they should do this is b/c next year is the 100th anniversary since winning the world series and it might be a way to reverse the curse.
Then if that doesn't work we can sign Donald, Mickey, and whoever else.
and maybe even possibly trading for the Racing Sausages from the brewers.

If they can't sign Mouse, it would be useless to spend all that money on Duck. They should just try to reduce salary since they make money hand over fist from the captive WGN TV market and the 40K idiots who pack the stadium all year in spite of the fact that the Cubs organisation laughs at them all the way to the bank.
Besides, it is more important to sign Bugs Bunny and Goofy next year so they can win the world series in 2008, the 100th anniversary of the last time they won it.

Personally I would sign Hewey, Dewie and Louie instead of Donald if I couldn't get Mickey because they are much younger and would probably come in a cheaper 3 person deal. They would make great prospect for the Cubs or could be traded off individually for more mony, but having all three would be a BIG asset.

What happens if they win the series, they bought it.
They should sign all of the disney characters, mickey, minnie, donald, goofy, pluto.
They also might wanna grab some looney toones, Bugs, Daffy, Elmer Fud would all be a good choice for the 5th starter.

They have an inside track to get Mickey because the manager is sleeping with Mickeys dog. At least that's what I think they meant when they said he was F'ing Goofy.

The Cubs have always patterned their play after one large eared rodent. People always have said that they play Mickey Mouse baseball. GO CARDS!!!!!!!

Why should they!! The have enough monkeys signed to their roster. People will fill that ballpark if 9 giant turd sandwiches were starting for the Cubs.

I don't know. But, rumor has it that Pluto will come with the Mickey deal. Chip and Dale are free agents too, and they have a very small strike zone...
