They will make the playoffs. Probably taking the wild card coming in 2nd in the AL Central to either the Tigers or Twins. There is alot of questions in the number 5 starter and in left field with Podsednik recovering from surgery. They should be good enough to make the playoffs, plus they are more hungry for another championship.

Well, we're not off to a great start at spring training but that's not much of an indicator. I think we have the makings of a good team this season but need to see some of the newbies in action first. Also not so sure about Ozzie's new line-up plans yet. Guess it's a wait and see season for me. GO SOX!

I would love to say they make the playoffs. I think it depends on what Kenny Williams can get for Crede & Buherle at the All Star Break. Both guys will never come back so if we get some quality players in retun for them and it helps us now and in the future we have a chance. We have the hardest division in baseball to contend with and big questions at pitching so realistically the prospect aren't very good. It would be good to lose some of the bandwagon jumpers with a bad season.

i think that they will win the division and thats.it..its not that the sox are bad its just other teams are better and have more evolved pitiching staffs......but i think its good, we have alot of great young pitching prospects that will learn from mark, jose, and javier. beware of the sox they're building a dynasty!

Seriously, they have a decent team. And I do know that.
They will finish above .500
but Cleveland, Minnesota, and Detroit will be in the mix all through the season.

But when it's all said and done I think they will finish 4th place.

I suspect they won't play to well, there pitching staff has alot of questions surrounding it. I believe their success will be a direct result of how well the pitching does.
