I am 14 years old and wonderin how i can increase my speed. Just to giv u aome info on my runnin already i can run 90 ft in 4.16 seconds

start running sooner. Watch Ichiro. He's running to 1st as he swing at the pitch

All you have to do is work out. Do a lot of sprints lift weights so u can increase your muscle. Also practice a lot. Also another way to make yourself faster is to buy something that can help you. Like a parachute agility ladder. Do plenty of push ups and sit ups because that makes more muscle which is important in running for speed. Run in place, on a tread mil, elliptical or go outside and run. Run a lot so you can gain stamina which is good to make sure that you don't tire to fast.

Not that this means much but it should I have a degree in Kinesiology (science of movement/ exercise physiology) you should wind sprints but with explosive bursts. Use a football field in length go 10yards at about 85% then next ten explode to top speed for 15yards then repeat for 4 full lengths of the football field. Also agility drills such as yo-yo's or suicides on the basketball court will help you get light and quick feet. Also, it never fails to build up muscle with calf raises and quad/hamstring exercises!!!! Hope that helps?!

how the hell do you run 90ft in 4.16 seconds?
unless 90feet is shorter than i think
well running shoes can help increase your speed

you can increase your speed by buying a sports parachute and just running how ever far you want and do that for awhile and it will increase your speed.

run sprints, do ladders, do cone drills, do squats, do spilt jerk, do lungs, and run some more sprints and hills. those will help the most

you keep practicing, lose weight and run around blocks and time yourself
