What the Yankees and Red Sox lovers fail to realize is that the White Sox have more overall talent.
Out of these 3 teams, the White Sox have the better shot at winning it all.

Red Sox in a run away this year. The Yankees have no pitching, and the White Sox are coming off a very disappointing year where they showed they were an average at best team.

Red Sox
Between Daisuke Matsuzaka, Beckett, Schilling, and Wakefield they have the best rotation is baseball. Also, they have the best closer Papelbon and a good set-up man in J.C. Romero.
In the Outfiled they have Manny Ramirez, Coco Crisp, and J.D. Drew.
Also, they have David Ortiz as DH/1B.
In the infield they have Julio Lugo and Mike Lowell.
Also they have Wily Mo, Pena as a solid backup or DH.
How can they not beat the Yanks or the Sox who are both old teams.
They have a good shot at the world series.
