They are all in excellent conditioned, boxed. I have cards like 1987 Barry Bonds rookie, 1968 Nolan Ryan rookie, 1955 Sandy Koufax, 1959 and 1955 Ted Williams, 1955 Willie Mays, 1967 Rod Carew, 1963 Pete Rose, 1982 Cal Ripken, 1969 Reggie Jackson, just to name a few. I have card sets of 1959-1990, every year. I have 302 rookie cards that I know of.

They are only worth what a collector would be willing to pay.

What it comes down to is this--
if the majority of them are from the 50s and 60s and if they are in great condition and are mostly of star cards they could be worth thousands.
Without knowing anything other than the little you are telling I'd estimate they are worth maybe $100-250, guessing that most of your cards are from the 80s and 90s.

i myself collect and am currently working on the 1959 topps baseball set and it alone is worth $5,000!!! you should go to the bookstore and get a beckett baseball card price guide and congrats you have a pretty nice fortune
by the way the bonds rookie card is only worth like $10.00

You neglect to mention the condition of the cards.
In mint condition, it would depend on the players. Look to the older cards, and try to find rookie cards for players who went on to greatness.
