Last year the All Star game was in Pittsburgh, this year it's going to be in San Francisco. Why is the All Star game being played in the National League two years in a row ????

The break with tradition is so that next year the all-star game can be held at Yankee Stadium in its last year. In order to play the game at Yankee stadium in what was supposed to be a National League year baseball had to give 2007 to the National League. This game was them give to ATT park in San Fransico.

Its because they want to have the 2008 All Star Game to played at Yankee Stadium before the Yankees move to their new ball park.

I'm waiting for the All Star Game to be played in the Oakland A's newest ballpark which will open in 2011.

Since the National League loses every year they are trying their best to give them some sort of edge, but it still doesn't work? I've got no clue just a guess.
