I'm a Yankee fan, and i'm tired of all the talk between A - Rod and Jeter. No one cares. I think it's just the media trying to get to the Yankees, so they'll be "distracted". Or, they're tired of talking about the Yankees winning, and wanted to talk about something else.

By the way, A - Rod said their friendship "cooled down", he didn't say he hated Jeter, but that's the way the retarted media looks at it.

I tried out for my high school baseball team for the first time this year as a senior. I have played rec baseball but hadn't been a part of the school program because i play football and basketball too, and beach volleyball during summer. This year, I came to tryout, and (not bragging) and was one of the top 5 players at the tryout, and the captains told me i probably locked up a starting spot already.
However, the coach cut me because he claimed he didn't feel right putting me on ahead of players that had been a part of the program for their whole high school career, in JV or whatever. I was pissed, but honestly don't know if agree or not, whats ur take or what would you have done?

When a player signs with a minor league team how does the team insure that the player remains with the team after they prove to be successful For example say a player takes 5 years to develope does that mean he would have to sign a six year contract for the major league team to have any value? Anyone who can break down the mechanics of minor league contracts would be appreciated. Also any websites with info would be great.

I have been pitching since I was 10, and when I was in New Orleans, my coaches have always told me to lift my leg(while in the stretch). But since I have moved to Iowa, my coach has told me to stride instead of lifting my leg. Is the reducing my velocity?

I just had my fantasy baseball draft, an autopick, and much to my chagrin it drafted Liriano in the 16th round... I forgot to include him on my "exclude" rankings list unfortunately. I know he is hurt, but I cannot seem to find out how long he will be out. Is he out for the whole season, or part of it?

The White Sox surprised everyone two years ago by winning it, Minnesota won it last year. Detroit got the wild card and made it to the World Series. Cleveland is loaded with tremendous talent, a make or break it year for them. Who do you all see winning the AL Central. I see Cleveland.

I went up to Fenway last season, u know one of the games of the 5-game sweep :)... and they treat Yankee fans like **** up there. I got spat at by a fat drunken bastard outside the park, and got a beer bottle thrown at me. And of course, being the courtious and mellow-mannered person i am, i ignored it. Bo-Sox fans NEVER get treated like that in the Bronx. They're like God-damned animals. NO CLASS & NO RESPECT!!! (PS: i know they're not all like that, just like not all Yankee fans aren't stupid arrogant idiots who only know about the Yankees.)

I say maybe. If not this year then in the near future. The Mets have an AL lineup in the NL, and u know what that means. Also with the additions of off-season pitching improvements, and a chip on their shoulders from last year, they could be dominent in the NL. Willie sure as hell knows what he's doing with those boys. The Yanks are always a solid team, and they have the best coaching staff in baseball (in my opinion), which is what people dont realize makes a tremendous difference. Joe Torre is a 1st ballad hall of fame coach, and i dont care what u say, 1 bad post-season last year doesn't prove jack s-h-i-t, and it sure as hell wasn't enough to get him fired after all he's done with that franchise in the 90's and 2000. I'd like to see other fans' input on this....... PS: i'm a Yankees fan; and please no stupid a-s-s "i hate the Yankees or NY" answers.
