Yes. Other than Anaheim who is a slight favor to win that division is up for grabs. None of the team have real good pitching and it's usually a 3 way race just about every year until someone pulls away late.

If Texas could get off to a good start for once they would have just as good of a chance as anybody in that division.

No. the uncomplicated answer why they wont is via the fact they don't have the gamers. Their pitching group is mediocre and something of the gamers do no longer do lots else. Vlad is getting rather previous, and he won't be able to play like he used to. And Harden is powerful, however the Rangers choose extra advantageous than basically a solid pitcher. He quite isn't interior the right 10, yet maybe ideal 15. Fransisco will help is he maintains to be healthful, and if Saltalamaccia performs like he did some years in the past, plus vlad and harden perfrom, then maybe the rangers have a raffle.

As long as the A's and Angels are in the same division... Ranger's chances of winning the West are about as good as Bush's winning the GOP Presidential Nomination.

If you believe that the White Sox pitching has gotten weaker this year, than you have to say that the Rangers has improved dramatically. The key is if their new young stud Brandon McCarthy pitches like a #1 or 2, or if he pitches like he did last year for the Sox, giving up the long ball, and having a flat fast ball. The Rangers should be better given that they gave that hack manager Showalter the boot.

Anything goes in that division. Each team has the same simular weakness and that's pitching. Texas needs to get off to a good start.

That division is always tough, but I would say the angels have the best talent on paper. oakland always has a strong team even without zito and you never know about seattle. i think that besides the angels the rangers have just as good of a chance as oakland and seattle.

Hate to tell you but the Angels are gonna win it this year, and that's hard to say for me as I'm a die-hard A's fan.

If the Athletics can stay healthy all year, they have a better shot than the Rangers also.
