I'm a Yankee fan, and i'm tired of all the talk between A - Rod and Jeter. No one cares. I think it's just the media trying to get to the Yankees, so they'll be "distracted". Or, they're tired of talking about the Yankees winning, and wanted to talk about something else.

By the way, A - Rod said their friendship "cooled down", he didn't say he hated Jeter, but that's the way the retarted media looks at it.

I don't care either. As long as they win the World Series, that is all I care about.

First, I HATE THE YANKEES!!! Now that I got that out of my system, on with your question. As a baseball fan, I am very sorry that the media has to try to stir something up between two of the games best. I do beleive in freedom of the press but to a point! These dummies think they can say or do anything they want and I for one am sick of it!! It is not fair!!! If the a------s MUST go after a ballplayer, why don't they stick to that junkie Bonds?!! I wonder how they would feel if I started a column on the web and just aimed it at them, saying anything I felt like or just plain made things up?!! What do ya think? Hey!! just ignore these dummies and enjoy the season and don't be worrying about your yankees, they'll be just fine.

Blow it off. The media and Yankee haters have been trying to make something more out of this than their really is.

Just ignore the negative vibe. A-Rod and Jeter get along just fine.

Unfortunately, the media wants to dig into personal lives. Rodriguez doesn't mind discussing it to the media but the intensely private Jeter does. Enough already. It's over and lets play ball .

I can't stand the Yankees and as far as I am concerned Jeter and A-Rod can beat the daylights out of eachother.

Unfortunately, the media wants to make you believe that a player's personal life is your business. Far too many people buy into that one, but the truth is that even a life lived under the spotlight has private components to it.

Your attitude towards the media on this one, from your comments, is a rude as is the attitude of the media in insisting on intruding into peoples private lives.

Neither of you is right, but for very different reasons.

I agree with you. Here in Chicago it made news. This is baseball, not some stupid soap opera to be played out in the media.

I think things like this cheapen the game and I just wish things would stay between the lines.

Play Ball!

I think it is the media trying to pick on gay people-like they do Rosie-just leave A-Rod and Jeter alone-lovers fight from time to time-that's not news!

the reason stupid stories like this always seem to come about during spring training is because really nothing happens in spring training and the media desperately needs to find a story( ie. the mussina and pavano thing)

The media was desperate for a story and tried to turn this one into something it wasn't. They failed. Next!
