My daughter is switching from competative gymnastics to softball this next season. Since I was only a gymnast myself I am at a loss in the softball section! I was wondering if any young ladies who are experienced can help with with some recommendations as far as which brands they prefer, are there several different types I should have her try on etc? Again, she is 12 years old and this is her first time playing softball.
Thanks so much for any information you can provide.

Why do some p[eople say Ron Guidry Is one of the best pitchers of all time? Hes good , Im a Yankee Fan so dont be so quick to judge. But Ron Guidry had a whole carrer of high 3 eras and 16 15 14 13 win seasons. Other than his 25-3 season and his other 20 win season, take the 25-3 season away and he wouldnt even be on Yankee-o-groaphy.

sorry, ive played cricket all my life so catching bare handed comes naturally to me, u could say my hands are all knocked in lol,
but getting back to my point i tried catching baseball the other day, first off its lighter than a cricket ball. p.s i had my buddy wail one at me to see how it feels when it has some zing to it.. to be honest it was alot easier than catching a cricket ball.

your thoughts?

Ok, first one do you think Barry Zito will choke with the Giants? With the salary hes getting and the years the giants are going to expect everything from this guy. And renemgber hes olny 28 so it may be tough. Also do you think the Mets have a shot? There pitching rotation sucks, its all fulll of sucky rookies and people with 400 eras, sure there lineup is great but look at the rotation......... What sucky team do you think will have the best shot at making the playoffs? I think the Cubs because they got Alfanso ( Although it was over priced) And they have more pitching so they dont have to put pressure on Carlos Zambrono And the oldies, and they got Lou Pennila (Great)! Next one do you think the Red Sox will accutly have a shot at winning this season? And do you think that Jappenise guy will be a hit there? And do you think Sammy Sosa will be good with the O's this season? After resting it out. And what team do you predict will be in last place this year? ( I think the Natinols)

Instead of 9 innings, they could be cut down to 7 or 6 innings - the game IMO would be more challenging and exciting to watch. What do you think? Only constructive opinions, please.

Teams should not sign his players they are to overpriced look at the Zito deal. He is killing baseball and if they dont deal with him then he and hi over priced players can sit it out. Then maybe he will stop being such a prick.

1) It's a poll between these two teams, so if you type Mets, Yanks or any other team......NO SOUP FOR YOU!
2) If you classify a team as being better would you start at the number of championships that team has, ballbark, fans, or all time winning percentage?
3) What are your thoughts on the outcome of the 2007 N.L. W.?
4) Any other information that you wish to share.

I don't have time to watch SportsCenter for a whole hour so I'm wondering (as I get ready for the '07 Rotissiere Baseball Season) if there's some place where baseball highlights news from the previous evening is presented in video form. Like if ESPN pulled all there baseball coverage from one episode of SportsCenter and then posted it on the web. Anyone know?

Hey guys. I am a huge Yankees fan but I am a little unsure of what's gonna happen with the Yankees starting rotation. Now that Randy Johnson has left for Arizona, I think Roger Clemens will be coming over from Houston, but am I wrong about this? I think the Rocket will return to the the Bronx because of Andy Pettite's return, but I could be wrong. Will Ching Ming Wang be the ace of the Yankees staff this year? He won 19 games this last year, but he doesn't have the popularity of Pettite or the Moose. Finally, if the Yanks don't land the Rocket, can their pitching be good enough to win them the World Seires? I believe they can, but say what you want to say.
