are you mad that opening "day" is being played at 705pm once again?
we have to be the only team that plays our o.d. at night!!!it is so lame
tell me your thoughts on this one because it pisses me off that they do this very very often

Your Padres are not the only ones playing at night. Last year, ESPN and ESPN2 showed a triple-header on Opening day, and the Yankees and A's played after the Padres played the Giants. The Padres won that game and Mike Piazza hit a home-run. If you're living in the Eastern time zone, then over here in WA it was showing at 4:05. I got to see my Yanks take on the A's, and that wasn't til' 7:00 on the west coast. The Yankees are also the most prolific team in all of sports, so MLB wasn't picking favorites. Besides, more people watch the later games anyway.

I wouldn't want to try to get to Petco during the day on a weekday. What a traffic nightmare. And no parking to boot. And since the trolley lots are full most days you couldn't even park at a station and trolley in. OUCH.
7:05 is just fine with me.
