The Dodgers are better.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 1958, the Dodgers have won five World Series 1959, 1963, 1965, 1981, 1988. They had one World Series win in Brooklyn.

The Giants have not won any World Series since moving to San Francisco in 1958. They did have five when they were in New York.

The Dodgers also have a higher fan base, in 2006 they had an attendance of 3,758,545 fans. I think they're second to the Yankees in overall attendance.

The Giants had an attendance of 3,129,784.

I think the Dodgers will win the NL West in 2007, they have veterans who will lead the way and a lot of young players who have proven themselves to be good.

The Los Angeles Dodgers. They both have good pitching staffs:
Dodgers
Schmidt
Penny
Lowe
Wolf
Billingsley

Giants
Zito
Cain
Lowry
Morris
possibly Jonathan Sanchez

However, I think the Dodgers have a better rotation, and certainly a better bullpen, because they are strong all around. Their number four starter is Randy Wolf, who was an All-Star pitcher when he was healthy. The front end of the Giants rotation is strong, but the rest of the rotation leaves something to be desired. Lowry is a question mark, Morris is fading, and they don't even know who their number five will be. The Dodgers have a superior offense, with Jeff Kent, Nomar Garciaparra, Rafael Furcal, Juan Pierre, and Andre Ethier. The Giants still have an overpaid Bonds, a 35 year old Durham, and newly acquired Bengie Molina, light-hitting Dave Roberts, and hacker Pedro Feliz. Even with Barry Zito, barring a miracle, the Giants are in for a painful 2007.

La Dogers.

They Both Have Some Great Players But Base On History The Dogers Have The Edge.

Next Year Though I Think The Gaints Will Win The N.L.W As A Surprise.

Dodgers made the playoffs, Dodgers, Plus they dont have to overpay a lefty pitcher so much just because there rotation sucks. They have a decent lineup and a veteran staff witch will make ti to the playoffs.....They might not win the ws but htye make it to the playoofs there always a contender in the NL while check back with the giants in 10 years.
