Game 6 at Shea was the most dramatic. 1 strike from elimination and then come up with 2 runs. That was probably the best although there have been some great game 7 comebacks like Pirates grand slam against the Yankees or Arizona beating up Mariano in 2001.

The Mets in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. The Red Sox were not only one out away from the championship, but one STRIKE away. The Sox were up 5-3 with Gary Carter up, he got single, no big deal, the tying run wasn't even at the plate. After that Kevin Mitchell came to bat on a pinch hit, he singled. Now the tying run came to the plate, Ray Knight came to the plate, he was down 0-2 in the count when he hit a single scoring Carter. The Sox were clinging to a one run lead with the tying runner on first. Kevin Mitchell stood on first and Mookie Wilson came to the plate. A passed ball allowed Mitchell to score, tying the game. The Mookie hit a slow grounder to first, where the ball rolled under Bill Buckner's legs. Ray Knight scored the winning run. The Sox lost Game Seven and the Series.

I would have to say game 3 of the 1996 World Series. The Yankees lost the first two games to the Atlanta Braves, then, went on to win the last four. That is how the Yankees do it. One of the greatest of all time.

Red Sox and Yankees when the yankees won the first 3 of 7 games and than the Red Sox came from nowhere and won the last 4. That sucked b/c the Yanks gave up completely but the Red Sox's did make a good comeback.

The Gibson homer was great, but i would have to go with the 86 Mets being down and out and coming back to win game 6. They were dead in the water! Put it all together with some dink dunk hits and an error, you can't even hope for that if you are a Mets fan...

1960 Pirates. Maz hitting the walk-off homer against the Yankees. Bucs were outscored 55-22, and still won the Series.
