Listen. I have been a Yankee Fan for many years now and I have to say the Yankees. All of the fans that are not A Yankee or a Boston fan hate them because they have a 200 Millon Dollar Payroll. Well let me tell you one thing. Everytime a team wins the Ws players make more money right? Plus there payroll goes up. Like the Soxs. They didnt have a high payroll in 2005. but in 2006, it skyrocketed because of the win of the ws.....
Because the franchise knows everytime you win. It attracts more fans. So everyone in the world thats not A yankee fan hates us. Well we earned our 200 millon dollar payroll plus we are inNYC the most populated city that has the highest population. Witch brings in more taxes (we cant help that). Also Geroge Steinbrenner donates 25 millon every year to the weaker teams such as Flordia Marlins Royals, Devilrays, Rockies.


Besides in the beggining of the franchise when we were the highlanders we sucked.....Than we got hot with Gherig and Babe. We suffered too, but we had a good scouting system that was cheap, and we became one of the baseballs best teams (accutly the best). And people would holler ''break up the yanks''
why should we? Baseball is about getting better and getting free agents and winning.
Why should we trade our best players and ''lose'' so other teams accutly had a shot at winning? Absurd. We played the game as other struggling young teams did and we got our good players with a low budget, and a sucky staduim. Now we have 26 world series, but we had droughts in the 80's , but doesnt everyteam? We were running out of our star players but still was a decent team. And in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000. We won the WS. But now we have a 6 year drought because in the playoffs they get cocky and Joe Torre isnt tough enough on them. Although hes a great manager. But Isaw a article in ''The New York Times'' made by a Met Fan saying ''its so funny how the yanks cant win'' and im like what? The mets never are good. They cant mantain there record, and new york is so big that the mayor will give them a 100 mil budget.
As well as boston. they seem to take ''pride'' in there 86 year drought. And they gave them a HUGE budget without deserving it...........This is why the yanks are also better.

We dont have to depend on a Rookie pitcher and Josh Becket and a Old guy. We have hand-to hand pitching. We lose one day we have Mike Mussina next day we have kei iwage, next day randy johnson. and unlike boston we have a lineup. without always depending on ortiz and rameriz to hit a home run when one of there other players accutly gets on base.

I'm a reds fan..but here's my answer to this question! I personally like the Red Sox better b/c year after year you see the yankees at the top of that division and it's gotten to the point where it's getting old. Don't get me wrong the yankees have the athletes that any coach would die for, but as a baseball fan it's tough to watch them. I think the money should be spread out evenly throughout all the baseball teams in both leagues. This way, the standings at the end of the year aren't so spread out from top to bottom. You could honestly put the yankees roster on the all star team and more than likely win. They have more money than they know what to do with! Don't get me wrong the Red Sox have their share of money as well, but they don't have all the attention and drama that the yankees do. And besides, Fenway is a much better stadium.

Many people will come in here and be like OMG KILL THE EVIL EMPIRE GO RED SOX. Yet their team has become just as bad as the Yankees, the only difference is that the Yankees win. If a gun was held to my head and I had to choose over my Phillies I would say the Yankees, just because winners are always are fun to watch.

Well i personally love the Braves. And HATE the cardinals.....
but i do like the Yankees....and the Red sox.....but i like the Yankees better because i used to like the Red Sox better when they had "Cave Man" but now the Yankees have him so I'd say Yankees. Thanks for the question i love to talk about baseball. Bye! =]
