What I mean is should the LA Dodgers still be credited for their titles from when they were the Brooklyn Dodgers? Were they two different teams, or did they remain the same when they moved? This question also applies to any other team that has moved cities, the Expos, the Browns, the Giants, the As etc... and especially those who changed their names completely, the Browns, Expos... What are your thoughts on this topic?

I noticed that nobody on Fox last night mentioned that this was the first season in the new stadium and as a World Series win... Then I thought of it, maybe they didn't mention it because it's very common, well I'm asking you all, has this happened before and if so to who and how often?

In MLB pitching and defense are the two keys to winning ballgames. I believe if the Tigers were to trade Mike Maroth and another prospect or two for an experienced mid to late inning reliever to shore up the bullpen and sign Barry Zito, their pitching staff would be second to none in all of baseball. Rolling Rogers, Zito, Bonderman, Verlander, and Robertson is as good as it gets. With Zumaya, Rodney, Jones, Walker, Ledezma, and Grilli coming out of the pen, the Tigers would have by far the best pitching staff in the majors. And remember, Dimitri Young and Troy Percival's contracts come off the books this season so the team will have money to spend in free agency. I say bring back Sean Casey and the rest of the everyday lineup and the Tigers are set for a run at the 2007 World Series.

Guys, what went wrong? Yesterday, as you all know, the damn cardinals beat the tigers 4-1 to become World Series Champions. I never expected them to even surpass the mets. So, did the Cardinals win it or did the Tigers lose it?

well ive seen this asked alot.

do you think the MLB should be purely-american or do you think it should be integrated as it is today?i do understand that it was invented in the 1800s as a game called "the new york game",in the northeastern united states...however,it has greatly evolved over the years by other cultures.

the real question is,how do you think baseball would have been affected it if was purely american?

I am in such an especially good mood today after the Cards won it all last night. I've been on the other side of a World Series in '04 and '87, and I remember losing sleep over it (yeah, I get into it) then being down for the next day or so. I was in such a good mood earlier that I told the old b*tc*y lady at the gas station to have a great day haha.
