Baseball is known to be a game of failure. Professional baseball players seem to have a better grip on handling failure because they forget about the previous game and move on to the next game after they lost. Why do some pro-athletics not worry about their mechanics while others do? Maybe sometimes it is better to just trust in their own abilities instead of overthinking the situation.

Yankees going to play? The Tigers or Twins? I know that the Tigers lost today and that the Twins won today. Does that mean they will be playing the Twins in the ALDS?

As a Detroit Tigers fan, I am shock that the Tigers did not win the Central Division and that they lost three games in a row against the Kansas City Royals.

I know there is no rule which says they have to, but I was wondering if there was an unwritten rule about it. It seems unfair that teams can play another team's callups instead of the regular starters just because their schedule has them playing teams out of the playoffs late in the season. And it seems unsportsman-like for those teams out of contention to not play their best and have a serious outcome on the playoffs.
