Cards looked good yesterday. Padres looked like they had their hearts ripped out. Looks pretty wide open to me. What do you guys and gals think?

That certainly didn't look very good. If the Tigers are to win does that seem the likely place for them to attack?

I know there are some former team managers who later took coaching positions -- bench coach, hitting coach, base coach, etc. Don Zimmer and Davey Lopes are just two of them. Who else's career took this path?

He turned that team around with almost no star players & look how thry thank him. It's no wonder why almost nobody cares about this team.

Your 2006 Boston Red Sox! hahaha, and sox fans cry about yankee spending.....the sox were second in payroll this year and finished 3rd in thier own division! And the best part is certain Sawks fans still come on here and cry about the yankees. I guess thats all they have left to do with so much free time in Oct.

Ive never seen a guy with more grace and grit play so hard to win baseball games for his team. He'll be a Yankee legend forever!

This does not count the managers who got fired after the season ended (Girardi, Alou, Baker, Robinson). I want to know if at least one manager got the axe this season after opening day but before last Sunday.

NEW YORK (Oct. 1) - Joe Mauer became the first catcher to win the American League batting title, going 2-for-4 for the Minnesota Twins on the final day of the regular season to hold off the New York Yankees ' Derek Jeter .

Has baseball become too much of a numbers game?

Are there factors regarding fielding, team coordinator/motivator, etc. that just isn't in the stats that make a great ball player and an MVP?

Your Choice....Derek Jeter or Joe Mauer.

No excuses for The Tigers tonight. They just plain out right sucked.

Does Verlander stand a better chance Wednesday night?
