That certainly didn't look very good. If the Tigers are to win does that seem the likely place for them to attack?

In a world, awful. I don't think the Tigers have enough to make any difference.

Yes, the Yankees are very offensive but most of them take Pepto Bismol or Rolaids to help their middle relief.

I'm afraid the Yankees are simply capable of putting up enough runs to win regardless of pitching problems. There are really no weak spots in that batting order.

It doesnt look good at all....they will need solid starts and lots of runs. The middle relief can be a factor in the next round, not against Det.

You're absolutely correct but I have to think that the Yankees have so much fire power that in the end it won't matter. If by chance they find themselves with their backs against the wall, they will just use their starters in relief roles. They will be fine!!

switch perspectives. is there a team out there that can outmatch the yankees pitching staff? cards have pretty much just carpenter, mets have, well im not sure. padres have wellls and his creaky back. id say the a's would give them the most trouble from that viewpoint. no one can match their lineup and their defense is pretty solid.

well...i must say Procter has been good all season long...he didn't get any runs allowed only a hit...farnsworth didn't allow any hits either just a walk...and mo just allowed one hit...i don't know how you can say it was that bad...it was serviceable and it was the first game of the playoffs...the first time ever for a couple of those guys...it will get better...im not worried

hello they just gave up one run. I dont understand why e/o is wetting their pants worrying about them. the yanks score enough runs so if they give up one lousy run it should be okay
