Haha, call me out of it but which teams are in the MLB world series this year? I usually somewhat follow baseball, but I have NASCAR now instead, which is easier cuz they all race at once.

So yea...

He started out as an outfielder but couldn't play on weekends for religious reasons, went back to the minors to learn to pitch and ended up committing suicide.

The pitcher's team won the game in regulation, but this pitcher did
not get credit for a no hitter. Who was it?

In Sept 75 I went to Candlestick Park to see the Reds/Giants long
after the Reds clinched the pennant and there was only 600 fans.
I sat out in left field behind Reds bullpen and Clay Carroll, Will McEaney, Pedro Borbon Sr, & Rawley Eastwick were there and one of them tossed a couple grapes over their head into the stands so I thought I would throw one back and I hit Clay Carroll right in the back of his neck. He got an usher to try and get me thrown out but a fella who was sitting two rows back stood up for me and told him the players did it first. That guy was Jack Billingham one of the Reds starters. That's who they were trying to hit. I also caught a foul ball that day from Joe Morgan.

It seems like the Dodgers are the Yankees of the NL. I Love the dodgers organization, i've been a fan of that team as far as I can remember, but i've noticed that theres a lot of Dodger haters out there, why?
Whats ur reason to for not liking the Dodgers?

I dont know who the pitchers for the AL teams in the playoffs are, the only ones im familiar with are the yankee pitchers. So i heard that the Twins have Santana (i guess thats their best pitcher) who else pitches for the twins? then the A's have Zito (which I know is their best pitcher) who else do they have? How 'bout the tigers, who's their starting ace & who do they have? Sorry people, I mostly follow the NL (Dodgers), but since its the playoffs, Im watching every game I can.

I'm not looking for the obvious ones that always appear on here - Joe Jackson or Pete Rose. I'm talking about eligible players, managers, or others who have been overlooked.

My vote goes to Marvin Miller, who changed the game as much as anyone over the past 50 years. Who would you induct?
