I dont know who the pitchers for the AL teams in the playoffs are, the only ones im familiar with are the yankee pitchers. So i heard that the Twins have Santana (i guess thats their best pitcher) who else pitches for the twins? then the A's have Zito (which I know is their best pitcher) who else do they have? How 'bout the tigers, who's their starting ace & who do they have? Sorry people, I mostly follow the NL (Dodgers), but since its the playoffs, Im watching every game I can.

Twins - Santana (ace), Boof Bonser, Matt Garza, Jose Silva, Scott Baker. Bonser and Garza are young, but could do well in the postseason.

A's - Zito, Blanton, Loaiza, Haren, Harden. Harden is an ace when healthy, but he's been hurt a lot this season.

Tigers - Ace is probably Verlander, also have Kenny Rogers, Nate Robertson and Bonderman. Bonderman had great numbers, but seemed to tire at the end of the season, as did Verlander.

I only pat attention to the Yankees. When the other team announces who'll pitch, then I know. You have to figure that whoever is pitching for the other guys, they are going to pretty good. The "cream' rises to the top.
What do you think of Tommy Lasorda's ads on Fox ? I do like him. He's a great American and has a very logical head on his shoulders. Tells it like it is.
