The NY Yankees scheduled for prime-time again (game #2, Wednesday), again Friday (game # 3)? What if this game gets postponed like Wednesday's? Someone is getting cheated out of possible night games with them being postponed. Not that the MLB can control the rain but it can equally divide the night games between EACH of the 8 playoff teams. If $$$ is what they are looking and hoping for in showing the NY Yankees primetime, let all of their games be postponed so they can make them up during the day.
Things like this is probably one reason why so much dislike for some popular teams exist among fans who otherwise would be nuetral.

but since it was 9:37 when the twarp was removed, MLB probably felt that it was too late to get high ratings. and the Tigers werent even informed by MLB that the game was postponed, but the Yankees knew. probably to get them a bit tired. im not a yankees hater but come on!!!!

The Twins are in it bad. They dropped Homefield advantage and they're one win away from being swept by the A's, the team nobody gave a chance.

This may seem like an obvious question to many but I really don't know much about baseball. What are the rules? What does a player have to do to hit come run? What is an inning (or something that sounds like that)? Please be thorough in your answers...I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks :)

I always watch my games on MLB.com and the playoffs are black out dates so I can just see the play but don't get any commentary... That being said, it shows a rain delay for the game. We don't have television so what is the probability they will play tonight or is it automatically rescheduled?

I'm interested in getting tickets - for the first time - for the Giant's 2007 Spring Training in Scottsdale. These are going to be a BIG birthday gift for my hubby (his birthday is in January...but I like to plan in advance) When do they go on sale?

Also - I went to their web site, and looked at their Spring Training Packages. They seem pretty expensive - approx $700 per person for the hotel, car, tickets, etc for just two days. Have any of you ever attended Spring Training? Are the packages worth it..or should I just get the tickets and book everything myself?

Every year they come out with a new list of people, that someone is snitching on for using preformancing enhancing drugs. Yet in the middle of all this stink, I have yet to hear what they are actually going to do if it's found out to be true. I think they should all be banned from the Hall of Fame. After all, I think using banned substances isn't any better or worse than what Pete Rose did.
