Can someone please tell Joe Buck, Joe Morgan, Tim McCarver, and the rest of those idiots to close thier mouths and stop talking!!?

joe buck is an idiot..........
when those guys are on, we turn down the sound and listen to the radio....

I agree completely! When I complain about Buck and McCarver, people look at me like I'm stupid,but when they do a game I have to turn the sound off! Morgan is insightful, but can be pretty harsh on a lot of players. Good post!

I personally like Joe Buck. He's a good announcer. I don't really care about the others. I think it's annoying when the announcers don't talk enough, or when they talk about everything besides the game that's going on at the moment. Try watching WGN when the Cubs are playing. I dislike the Cubs and I dislike their announcers, too.

Personally, I don't think Joe Buck is that bad. Whenever I get an ESPN game, rather than listen to Miller and Morgan, I mute the television and listen to the radio (although Sterling isn't too much better, himself. Lesser of two evils I suppose...)

Very good point. I would much rather hear Vin Scully do a couple more post-seasons. Sucks about the rainout tonight. Funny thing I was at Shea for the Mets today and it wasn't raining at all when we left around 8:00

yeah did you watch the A's Twins game yesterday. They keep saying zito had terrible control and he was getting helped out by the hittters. Thats what pitcher is suppose to do make the batter get himself out. Make the batter hit your pitch.
and i heard one of them say he almost got picked off second...(pause) as you just saw. Do they think they are on the radio or something?

Turn off the TV sound and turn on WXYT on the radio. I listened to WEEI when the Red Sox were in the playoffs.
