Cards looked good yesterday. Padres looked like they had their hearts ripped out. Looks pretty wide open to me. What do you guys and gals think?

The truth of the matter is the entire National League is so weak that even with the Mets problems they can still win it. What happened in the Padres game was totally unexpected. The Cardinals are terrible. Except for Carpenter they have no pitching. Let's see what happens today with the Dodgers. That will tell us a lot about how this series will go.

i think they still are the favorites to win the NL Championship b/c they have an excellent offense...and as long as their defense is up to the task they'll win..but i dont think they'll win the series against the Dodgers...since their 2 best starters are out they wont play as well and jus look at the last few weeks of the season...they slumped a lot and now the Dodgers prolly believe they have a BETTER shot at winnin the NLDS against them.

I think the Cards still have a fighting chance. They lost Mulder and Izzy, but you still have the best hitter by far in baseball, Albert Pujols. In my opinion, the Mets still have the best chance because they have one of the greateast playmakers in baseball right now, Jose Reyes. He can change a game with one swing of the bat or with one terrific diving play. I'll take the Mets to win the NLCS.

I don't think the Mets were going to win the NL before that.

So, no.

It's still wide open. Except that Cardinals game was a fluke. They will not win that series!

Mets are still favorite to win the N.L.C.,but wouldn't it be some thing if the no name players of San Diego won it all.
