Alright, another injury but so what? The Mets have other pitchers that they can depend on. Example: John Maine, Tom Glavine and bunch of dependable relief pitchers like Guillermo Mota, Billy Wagner, Aaron Heilman and Chad Bradford. I admit that it does make it a bit harder on the Mets but with good defense and offense, I think they'll make it. And yes, a prayer won't hurt at all.

Of course they have a prayer,But it's not going to be easy. They have good O , good D , Shea Stadium and at best ,average pitching. To win tonight they can only allow three outs per inning and play extremely efficient baseball..I think that if the Mets can get past the Trolley Dodgers they can beat the Padres or the Cards.

Judging from the last 2 games...I would say they have more then a prayer! Last nights game was incredible! The energy at the the stadium was indescribable! Go Mets!

Glavine is all they have pitching wise & he's going up against Hong-Chih Kuo, if u ask me, I think thats the only game they have a chance winning, even if El Duque was in. D Lowe, hopefully will be himself, pitching great, he has postseason experience, so Dodgers should take game 1, game 3 back in L.A., Maddux is pitching, he'll be good for 6-7 innings, everyone knows he's a damn great pitcher, & if needed, IF needed, game 4 Penny will take the mound in L.A., so , I dont think the mets have a chance.

well they have a good team but without a pithcer like him they'll lose the series but they wont get swept b/c there offense is good enough to win games for them..as long as they have Glavine pitchin they'll atleast win 1 game.

I really think they are in bad trouble. They play the dodgers who themselves have great pitching.
pitching wins these playoffs.
