There is a trophy case for yahoo sports players. I came in 1st in two leagues and 3rd in the other. However, the trophy case reflects how I finished in the regular season ... not overall. I finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each league respectively prior to entering the playoffs. The trophies are showing my regular season status not my final status. The trophies were actually up there before I even entered the playoffs.I thought the trophies would indicate how you performed overall not just in the regular season... can someone clarify this for me?Thanks!

As a "White Sux fan" I should'nt post this, but I hope the Tigers clean house in the playoffs, and get into the world series for one reason, Leyland deserves it.

I see so many comments on here like, "They might beat the Padres, but they can't beat the Mets," or others like that. Do the people making the predictions not understand the amount of plain old chance involved with winning in a short series? Any team can beat another in a 3-of-5 series. It's a fact of probability, and it happens all the time (Houston over St. Louis last year, the Marlins in 2003, the Giants over the Braves/Cards in 2002), so why do people insist on still saying things like this when they're obviously untrue?

Predicting the order of finish over a 162-game schedule makes some sense, but a best-of-5 or best-of-7? I know matchups can be important in the playoffs (eg. young, tired Tigers pitchers against the powerful Yankees), but do you think the best team always wins?

Sorry for the rant!

Why so much hype for a guy whose only managed one season? Do they expect him to go 162-0 next year,if he's hired by the Cubs? Would Cubs fans rather have someone else,by the way?

It's signed with a blue sharpie, the DVD is called PETE ROSE: PLAYING TO WIN, it looks like a training aid. But the wierd thing is it's still got the plastic cover over it, and the autograph is under it. And there's a professionaly made sticker that says, "NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION AUTOGRAPHED COPY"... I bought it at HASTINGS for $3.00 in this pile of overlooked DVD's....basically I have a squat load of autographs and I believe this is real, I just don't know how much it's worth... AND LASTLY YES!!! I AM GOING TO WAIT UNTIL HE GOES TO THE HOF CAUSE IT WILL GO FOR A LOT MORE!!!

NL First Round:
St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Diego Padres
New York Mets vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

AL First Round:
Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees
Oakland A's vs Minnestoa Twins

How do you see it playing out? You are in the League Championship Series? Who is playing in the World Series and winning the World Series?

Anyone who doesn't think so, obviously hasn't been paying attention to the stats and standings for the past few months. I'm a Braves fan, but this year I'm rooting for the Twins!!

I am not saying he has, but at the same time, I've long suspected "The Rocket". I mean, take a look at his upper body. Like Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa ( and others we're pretty certain of ), he wasn't like that earlier in his career. If that is a point of contention for you, just pull out one of his early baseball cards like I have and see for yourself. Besides, if you weren't guilty, why would you even bother answering such charges?
