I would have to say that the Yankees know Johan Cytana and dont wanna face him twice a week. Everyone knows that when you have Johan Cytana in two games out of 5 games you will have an 80% chance to win.

Whoever said the Yankees bullpen is better than the Twins has obviously not seen or read anything about the Twins this year. Undoubtedly the Twins have the best group in the league. As far as being afraid, I think the Twins and Yankees recognize that they are probably the two best teams in the AL and they don't want to face each other right away. Whether you call that fear I dont' think so, just smarts.

I don't think the Yankee's were afraid of any opponent. The Twins had better reason to be afraid based upon their season record against the Yank's and the Yank's lineup. I w3as hoping for the Twin's in the first round. Oh well I guess we have to show the Tigers whats up.

Nobody wants to face Johan Santana twice in a week, and I'm sure the Twins would rather face the A's lineup than that of the Yankees.
