Anyone who doesn't think so, obviously hasn't been paying attention to the stats and standings for the past few months. I'm a Braves fan, but this year I'm rooting for the Twins!!

I don't know, but you may be right. The numbers (certainly 2nd half numbers) back you up. I'm an A's fan and I'm worried about having to play them in the first round.

The Twins are a damn good ball team.

I'm with you. I'll be cheering them on the whole way. But, I'm from Minnesota, and have learned not to hold my breath waiting for a team to win. The Twins, on the other hand, are the only professional sports team from Minnesota to win a championship, so it is definitely very possible, especially the way they have been playing the last couple months.

Yes, you have to root for the small market teams, besides radke is back in the rotation, the twins have momentum going into the playoffs, it must suck to be Detroit, being ahead in the central for almost the whole season and then losing it on the last day by losing to KC

they are good but now that they would have to play the Yankees in a 7 game series when the Yankees finish off the tigers...i just don't think the Twins can hang with the Yankees for that long...the Yankee lineup will wear out that pitching staff

Keep on believeing but remember they lost 2 out of 3 to the White Sox this weekend, and the White Sox were playing a lot of AAA players.

I'd love them too, but their starters, besides Santana, are a doubt. I don't see Matt Garza or Carlos Silva beating the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. I wish Santana cold pitch well on three days rest!
