Well that is a hard question since players move around so much now a days, even Smoltz and Hoffman came from different teams. (Smoltz was traded from the Tigers, and Hoffman was a shortstop in the Reds orginization) but heres my shot at it:

NL East
Atlanta: Smoltz , or Andrew Jones (Andrew Jones came into his 1st World Series and hit back to back home runs against the yankees, been a gold glover almost every year and has been with the Braves Orginization from the start, Smoltz however has been their longer and was realy the only big game in the playoffs when they had Maddux and Glavine in their rotation.)

Florida Marlins: D-Train Dontrell Wills (is their any questions about this ??)

Philadelphia Phillies- Ryan Howard, Chase Utley a close second (granted Howards only been in Philly 2 years but he's the faceof the Phillies ever since he's got called up to replace Thome last year, Utley's an all-star 2nd baseman but Howards really been carrying the team on his back)

New York Mets- Jose Reyes, and David Wright tie (Steve Treschel has the longest tenure of any current Met, however isn't and shouldn't be the face of any team, and Pedro hasn't been healthy the last two years, Beltran and Delgado might be bigger stars at the moment, but Reyes and the Wright is the current face of the Mets. They play like they really love the game, which really represents the Mets and its fan in general after clinching a Division title the first in 18 years.

Washington Nationals/Montreal Expos- Jose Vidro (since he's been there longer and was the only star player they kept, he probably been a star if he had played anywhere else

NL Central
Chicago Cubs- Ernie "Lets Play Two" Banks, or Hall of fame Trio Tinker-Evers- to Chance (just indicates how bad the Cubs has been for the last 98 years)

Cincinatti Reds- Ken Griffey (sure he hasn't been the same since he's was traded from the M's, but neither has the team)

Houston Astros- Craig Biggio (comon you got to love that helmet)

Milwaukee Brewers- Geoff Jenkins (one of the few bright spot for the fans of the team, Robin Yount finishes 2nd just ahead of Prince Fielder

Pittsburgh Pirates- Roberto Clemente (the team just hasn't been the same since the Bonds-Andy Van Slyke- Bobby Bonnila OF trio left)

St Louis Cardinals- Albert Pujols (if your are a MVP Canidate you get extra ten points)

NL West
Arizona: Luis Gonzalez (hitting a game winning hit in the world series doesn't make you a hometown hero nothing will)

Colorado Rockies- THE HUMIDOR: (P Jeff Francis and P Jason Jennings finishes a close second, but honestly when ever a pitcher does well in Colorado as these two pitchers has, Credit will always goes to the Humidor and how it has stop balls from traveling as far first before any credit goes to the pitcher)

Los Angeles Dodgers- Can you really pick anyone since the team has change so much in the last year or two. Cause I can't. Maybe Lasorda???

San Diego Padres- Hoffman (Enter the Sandman, Nough Said)

San Fransico Giants- Bonds, Barry Bonds (wether you hate him or love him San Fransico do love Barry, Plus if it wasn't for him they would of been the Tampa Bay Giants.)

AL East
New York Yankees- Derek Jeter (I was going to say A-Rod but honestly i think Yankees root for the Red Sox more than they root for Arod

Boston Red Sox- David Ortiz (Jason Veritak may be more vauable as a club house leader but fans love their "Papi"

Baltimore Orioles- Cal Ripken Jr., and CF Brian Roberts (Can't beat that night when Ripken broke Gherig's Consecutive game streak, maybe a World Series win, maybe)

Tampa Bay Devil Rays-tie CF Carl Crawford, and Manager John Madden (you got to love those glasses, and Crawford can steal home before the pitch gets to the Catcher.

Toronto Blue Jays- former Cy Young winner Roy Holliday

AL Central
Chicago White Sox- Paul Konerko ( Since Frank Thomas left its got to be Konerko whos been there since '99 and has been more productive than the Big Hurt's last few years in Chicago

Cleveland Indians- CC Sabathia (one of the few pitchers left that wont suprise you when he throws a complete game, Travis Hoffner a close second)

Detriot Tigers- Justin Vandaler (One of the reasons why the Tigers are where they are today

Kansas City Royals- Mike Sweeny- (who else to be named here??? All-Star Pitcher Mark Redman with a 5.71 ERA. how did he get to the All star game anyway???)
Minesota Twins- Santana (Probably one of the top 3 or 4 pitchers in the majors right now, votes to Brad Radke for being there when the Twins was in its Dark Ages of the mid to late 90's remeber the old Sega commerical with him when he led the Al in Home Runs given up)
AL West
Okland A's- Barry Zito (the Ace of the staff one of the reason why they are the Western Division Champs

Los Angeles Angels of Anhiem- Number one they really needs to decide where they ae playing LA or Anhiem and stick with it, but the winner goes to Vlad Guerro (Sure he started with the Expos but doesn't everyone else)

Seattle Mariners- Ichiro (since Griffey Arod Edgar Martinez and even Jaime Moyer have left or retired he's been the consistant bright spot for the M's, close vote for the Mariner Moose who once broke is angle while roller skating behind an ATV,seems like no one can stay off the DL not even the Mascot

Texas Rangers Chuck Norris (one time a guy tried to say Firstbaseman Mark Texira was the face of the Texas Rangers, Chuck Norris Roundhouse kicked him and killed him instantly) sorry had to put a Chuck Norris joke some where
