In my opinion..why not? They really have nothing to lose..His stock is high soo teams will probably bite for a trade since a good and consistent SS is hard to find..I think that they should trade him for a few top prospects while his stock is still high..because when he has a mediocre year which will occur soon, his stock will drop tremendously..Soo the Orioles should grab top young players//prospects while they can!!

They might not, but it is time for them to do so. The Orioles had Sosa and Tejada at one point trying to keep the Orioles in contention. Tejada should have stayed in Oakland. Sometimes, it is better to stay where you were at. Nevertheless, the O's should trade him and get some pieces back...

Who would want him? He's done nothing but whine since signing a fat contract with the Orioles - knowing full well that their pitching was awful and they had *no* chance of postseason play given being in the same division as the Yankees and Red Sox.

I say leave him in Baltimore. He wanted to sign there, so let him stay there.

they tried trading him last year but couldnt find what they wanted, if they dont find a trade that they want before opening day, look for them to trade in late july to a desperate team in playoff contention that is willing give more than get

I don't think so...Angelos is going to want the farm for him. Plus, what team out there is really hurting for a shortstop?
