If you had enough money to afford one, where would you want to build a new racetrack of your own?

I'm just wondering, if I was to make these in driver colors and sell them on Ebay, would you buy one?

If so, how much would you be willing to pay?

With all the attention on safety concerns today. Why not address the problem with the glareing / Blinding sun issue ??
Build some tall, wide billboards outside the track or something.
Ever have that problem going or leaving work ?? That's kind'a
hairy going 30-40 mph !!! I could only imagine that,running 180-190 !!!

Driver safety has came along way in Nascar since Dale Sr. died. The cars are much safer, most all tracks have soft walls in the high impact areas. I like the fact that drivers are not being killed or seriously injured in these cars today.
There is still a risk of being hurt or killed in a Nascar stock car, but the chances of it are a lot less than in the past.
It almost always seems that the driver that is able to drive just on the edge of being out of control is faster. Do you think the drivers of today think less about injury than the drivers of say the 70's when on that edge?

"One of the new measures will limit teams to using just one wind tunnel, with squads only permitted to carry out 15 runs over each eight-hour day. Weekend wind tunnel testing will also be banned and the FIA also plans to introduce limitations to prevent teams from diverting wind-tunnel resources into Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

It was also revealed that further restrictions would be announced concerning rig testing, design and manufacturing, suspension and brakes, hydraulic systems, bodywork, weight distribution, circuit testing and the number of personnel at races."
A KEY part of F1 is the technology...does this spell disaster for the sport as we know it???

Those poor people looked so miserable having to listen to David Spade and Kelly Clarkson. Did yall see Tony Stewart roll his eyes when she was singing? I always thought NASCAR was more rock n roll then that.

I was watching it for the first time on Speed the other day, and was wondering what model does Ford use, it looks a lot better than American Fords. I know GM runs the Holden Commodore(which we see as the Pontiac GTO), was just wondering what Ford used.

The FIAs decision not to punish Renault for exactly the same crime as Mclaren were found to be guilty of proves beyond all doubt the negative bias against Mclaren. The same breach of the rules: Mclaren is fined a record $100m, yet Renault escape scot-free. Can anyone explain that to me please? Is that the FIA's version of fairness, equal treatment and justice? Pathetic. Mclaren should now prosecute the FIA for every last Ferrari cent they have.

.....the car slowly turns into dust and the voice over say's "Toyota impacts nothing".?
It's a 'green/earth' commercial but I thought it was funny being a Stock Car fan didnt you?.....From a competition and durability standpoint.

I mean, I wouldn't mind having a Chevy sitting in the weed's for 40 year's in the back pasture or in the barn because my Grand kids would eventually pull it out and restore it after I'm gone!

I guess you can't do that with a Toyota. The Toyota shortly turn's to dust.

What's the best idea for a tent and keeping cool? There's a chance we might not get a camping spot with any shade. And what about keeping clean, the showers there are always freezing and always a long line. I know they have portable showers, but I think I would still feel weird being naked with only a tarp separating me and everyone else.

... I remember the Texaco car being pretty competitive back in 2001. I also remember Rudd had a problem getting along with his team I believe and he left to drive for Wood Brothers.

... If Ricky Rudd would have stayed with RYR do you think he would have had better luck toward a championship? Was Wood Brothers a mistake?
