If the story plays as it looks, the man with the most hits in baseball history and the man with the most home runs in baseball history will each be kept out of the Hall of Fame. While this is a rightful thing to do, what impact does it leave on the Hall of Fame? Any?

I few years back Ford won a few Cup Chamionships. There were more Ford teams than Chevy or Pont.Why because the Ford produced more horsepower and the aero package was faster through the air.GM couldn't stand this anymore and had Nascar pull the plug on Ford. They choked the engine down and slowed the body so the chevy's can win. That's what happened and now nascar won't let Ford or Dodge use their new engine packages because Chevrolet won't win as many races. Don't make the Hendricks mad by God . The car of tomorrow should solve the Areo edge any team might have but it still won't fix the under powered Fords,Dodges &Toyautos.Make sure all the engines put out the same horsepower and with the COT body. That will make some real good racing! It worked for I ROC. By the way Ford makes a darn nice pickup!

What are some good sites online to shop for mountain biking shoes? Both of the local bike stores near my house have an extremely limited selection of shoes (like three pair each). Performance and Nashbar seem to have a good selection, but never the right sizes. What I'm looking for is a shoe (SPD) that you can get off the bike and walk around easily. I'm not looking for the type of shoe that looks like a road shoe with a little tread. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I have decided that i would like to buy my dad a Bike for X-mass. The main use would be for street and some light off road (trail) riding. I really cant spend much more then $300 and was wondering if there are any "Good Quality" bikes out there that would fit my price range.

(Not looking for any Generic Wal-Mart / K-mart specials) would like a good quality bike.

We hear every now and then about a player being fined a game check for some infraction. I know some teams it's a game check to miss the flight to away games, or even to miss team meetings, or curfews.
So for the same infraction, a player like say Tom Brady would be fined a lot more than say Brady James.
Is that fair?
Also for the top players those game checks are huge! Do they really like have that kind of money direct deposited in their checking account?
Just wondering.

Mike Modano: lost his captaincy and has been demoted to the fourth line. The fans seem to love him but management doesn't seem to and perhaps he'll get fed up with it and ask for a trade before the deadline?

Jaromir Jagr: He doesn't seem to have any chemistry with his new teamates. Factoring in his age, do you think the Rangers will try to get rid of him to add some youth?

Any other players you can think of in the same scenario? Sergei Fedorov maybe? Mats Sundin even? (Hey, you never know. Just look at Ryan Smyth last year.)
