You are right as usual, kind sir. However we most of us Yankee fans are aware that the Yankees have not won this century, as they last won in 2000, which is seven years and counting. Fortunately for us, we are able to feel some relief knowing that it could be worse, like the Tigers, who have not won since 1984, which was before the current Yankee phenoms Hughes, Chamberlain, and Kennedy were born.

You are correct Georgie. The truly twenty first century in line with the entire books, didn't begin till Jan. 01,2001. Beings the Yankees have not received due to the fact 2000, way the have no longer received this century. It may be very functional, however a few individuals feel the twenty first century began in 2000. It did not, we began out with the 12 months one, no longer 0. 0001 to 2001. It's that effortless individuals. I am a real blue Yankee fan, and I can be given this.

You are right in the fact that 2001 is when the first year of the 21st century started. 2000 was the final year of the 20th century and 2nd millenium, as 1999 years had gone by before then. 2000 is not a part of the 21st century, and therefore, the Yankees have not won a World Series in the 21st century.

Unfortunately, it is true. However, the last time the Tigers won, Reagan was still the president, Bernie Goetz shoots a few kids in NYC for trying to rob him, the Nintendo Entertainment System was a year away from being released, The Terminator was one of the top movies in the box office. The year is 1984.

I agree with you, and I hate the fact that most yankee fans are bandwagon jumpers, but I stay with my team. They are not in the past still, they are in the future. How can you say they are in the past, with that amazing comeback this year from 21-29 to 94-68?

Math is HARD, George.

Have you any IDEA how long it took to count to 26?

And all that prep work solving how to count higher, all the way to 27, is now wasted. They resent that.
