I few years back Ford won a few Cup Chamionships. There were more Ford teams than Chevy or Pont.Why because the Ford produced more horsepower and the aero package was faster through the air.GM couldn't stand this anymore and had Nascar pull the plug on Ford. They choked the engine down and slowed the body so the chevy's can win. That's what happened and now nascar won't let Ford or Dodge use their new engine packages because Chevrolet won't win as many races. Don't make the Hendricks mad by God . The car of tomorrow should solve the Areo edge any team might have but it still won't fix the under powered Fords,Dodges &Toyautos.Make sure all the engines put out the same horsepower and with the COT body. That will make some real good racing! It worked for I ROC. By the way Ford makes a darn nice pickup!

Right on brother, GM has been crying for years. So they give them a little extra and take a way from the dominate teams which is wrong. Years ago Nascar was you can buy it in the show room and run it on the track. You didn't see all the aero pkg. like you see know. I feel very strongly that the auto makers should drive the Nascar series. If you cant build a fast race car that's your problem. If Ford has a better areo pkg. then dodge and Chevy better go back to the drawing board. Likewise with Ford if they cant keep up then Rousch needs to switch to Chevy or Dodge. these whiners and cheaters need to pack there toys and go home. That way you would cut down on the cheating like the 48 team. Nascar proved that if you cheat you can win.

It will tell you what happened leading into the 07 season. The reason that Ford and Dodge did not end up with new engines for this year is because Ford and Dodge dropped the ball and didn't get the job done. As far as Toyota, they are running a new purpose built engine.
As far as making all the engines exactly the same, I totally disagree. This isn't IROC. I'm not crazy about the bodies being the same, but it's here so we have to live with it. If you want see racing that has all of the same equipment for every team, then NASCAR isn't for you, but it should not be changed into something it's not just to make you happy.
The only thing I do agree with you on is that Ford does make a nice pickup.
In the future, please do some research before you go online spouting opinion as fact.

Ford's are for driving. Chevy's are for racing.
I do agree Ford makes a nice truck. My friend has an F-350 V8 diesel with all the Bully Dog upgrades. It makes 613 horsepower (on paper) and get's 20 mpg in the city!
I drive an '01 Lincoln Town Car daily. An '87 Suburban 4x4 when I need it. And I bracket race and show a '69 Camaro that I've owned for 21 year's.
I had a '67 Mustang once.

What flavor Hater-ade are you drinking? The Dodges are making the most horsepower, and the Fords had the best aero package (pre-COT). Chevy gives more technical support than the other makes do. I thought all the crying about people having an advantage based on manufacturers had gone away. I guess when peoples drivers don't win then the others must have an advantage given to them by Nascar. Keep beating that horse though, it is already dead after all.

I agree with you to a point! Something is giving the Chevy's an edge. How do we know that Chevy's have more horsepower? Where's that data?
Say at 8,000 rpm!
Also, how do we know why Nascar is giving them the edge?

wait, i'm not sure what ur asking... as to who owns NASCAR, that's funny and annoying at the same time... yes, ford makes the best damn trucks ever, followed closely by dodge (dodge dakota, 1990, two-tone blue, six dents and a shattered front headlight, so sad to let it go *sniff, sniff*)
