Personally, I'm not a big Weatherford fan... or a Florida State fan, but that's beside the point. For anyone watching the game, what do you think of this Ponder guy in at Quarterback? Weatherford took quite a lick and this third stringer is looking pretty good. He's led them back into the lead and he seems to have a little more speed and awareness than Weatherford. What are your thoughts?

any ways I meet up with an old friend from highschool and I remind him of the good old days. We use to both do kick boxing and sparred all the time. Well we decided to fight for old times sake, only it wont be restricted to scoring points. Im wondering how I should I fight him. He's 6,3 190 something lbs, and pretty muscular. His advantage is that he is bigger and stronger. Im 5,7 155 lbs and lean. My advantage is that ive been in more real fights and still can kick prettyhard. Im wondering how I should I fight him. I thought maybe rushing and throwing everything I got but if I messed up he would easily over power me. So then im thinking of using grappling but I would have to get in close enough without taking too many blows. Asking for advice from any one that does martial arts, boxing or any combat like sport.

Sure they lost, but they lost to some pretty good teams, and at least they are consistent, lets not also forget that this team lost to Navy,no other Notre Dame team has done that since the days of Roger ( The Dodger )Staubach

Clements spent 17 years in pro ball from 1884-1900 mostly with the Philadelphia Phillies. He had 77 home runs, (considered a lot for those days), 687 RBI's, and a career .286 average with a .347 OBP and a .421 slugging percentage. Though his numbers for those days were acceptable to above average, what one thing separates him from every other player that held his position?

I know the season isn't finished yet, but does anyone see any real improvement with the team? I don't. Our QB is making bad decisions, our WR's can't catch half the passes that are thrown to them, and our Defense seems worse than last year(if that's possible).

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I'm leaning strongly toward Chatman against Buffalo's defense, but LenDale white with three 100+ yard games in a row is tough to sit. While Henry is an option I only picked him because I own Chad Johnson and he's questionable (maybe upgraded to probable by now) for this week.

I watched the truck race last night. By the way it was great as usual!!
The thought ran thru my mind that Jr. will get into the wall here on Sunday!
I'm not bashing Jr., but the way he is trying to run that high line like Casey is going to end up with one or both of them in the wall before the day is over!
The wall there has bitin a lot of drivers over the years!!

Jimmie Johnson has won nine races. That guy "swoops"! I always ranked him equal to Tony Stewart, but Jimmie is hott! Everyone is giving Jimmie Johnson the thumbs down. People always hate the winner. Don't you want the best driver to win?

I know college football teams need 7 wins in a 12-game season to become bowl eligible, 6 if they have a conference tie-in with a bowl. Do conference championship games count toward the total?

I can't find the official NCAA requirements online anywhere. Could someone post a link showing me where I could find the actual requirements.

Who drafted Jeff Lerg (Michigan State goalie--mike vernon sized)? I heard Colorado did, but I can't find records of it. The Wings drafted Justin Abdelkader (MSU forward) right? Once again, no records. And I'm wondering who drafted Billy Sauer (Michigan goalie)
