Sure they lost,but they lost to some pretty good teams,and at least they are consistent,lets not also forget that this team lost to Navy,no other Notre Dame team has done that since the days of Roger ( The Dodger )Staubach

this is semi proffesinal football there is no such thing as slack they r about 2 lose to the air force and i am gunna guess and say that u r a irish fan u shouldt use that as a excuse so let's look at there schedule
georgia tech-above average football team shows greatness at times but lacks an offense
penn state-they have a great defense but there QBplay hold's them back but at best they r a top 20 team in the past ND beats them
Michigan-they have played better by winnig agaist a watered down big ten and both teams were winless teams and michigan was missing chad henne
michigan state-now michigan state is not a good team there is no reason 2 lose to them they are not a good team they lack a downfeild passing threat
navy-now this is just unexcusable there record in the past 12-24 that is not good and wat is a 46 game losing streak now there were some bad norte dame teams in that streak so navy ist a good team
now 2 say that they deserve respect hell out of here i have just lost any respect 4 u that is just a insane comment to make
now the reason 4 all of this is charlie wies there has been reports from everybody that is is disrespectful 2 boosters's and referees and fans on espn college gameday they said that the new orleans saints said we will give u a contract double wat ur making so what does he do goes 2 the irish and gets triple his old contract that is not the type of guy i want leading my son and then this backfires back 2 norte dame when they fired tyrone willanham the only reason that charlie weis led them 2 2 bcs bowl's was with willanghams recruits so if we take away willanghams player what has charlie weis done nothing this dumb question has just pissed me off!

Is this a joke? They're 1-9 with losses to Air Force and Navy. They get no respect because they're a horrible team. No, calling them horrible is an insult to horrible teams everywhere. This season is a train wreck. Isn't it great.

Duh.Because they are Notre Dame.I remember from past years when Notre Dame would run up the score against their opponent,and the coaches & players were so cocky,arrogant in doing so.Karma's a ***** ND,LOL at your squad now.

The season is still young. They got Duke coming up, I say if they win that game, we start making hotel reservation for the National Title Game!!!
Maybe not, but there is always next year, maybe they can double their win total and win 2 games next year to get them started in the right direction and start earning more respect!
