my friend and i are laker fans and we want garnett to come
we decided to each donate 10 bucks in order to do it and ask for 10 bucks from the fans who wants to donate too and give it to bass
the price of garnett is about 10 million bucks and the lakers can purchase half of it so we need a half a million fans
so far we have 20 bucks
tell me if you want to join us in raising money

Can they be beat Detroit? They got smoked in Game 1, but they're much better than that. Hinrich and Gordon make such a good guard combo, and they got guys like Luol Deng, Nicionni, Big Ben, and others.

If they can get past, Detroit, then they're basically in the NBA finals (New Jersey/Cleveland in Eastern finals... lmao).

He says he's back with the Yankees to do what the Yankees do best, win a title and anything else "is a failure." Isn't this the same guy who begged out with an injury in the World Series against the White Sox? What's the point in getting Clemens if he's just going to get hurt for you in your biggest hour and then act like you are the one with the problem?

Would you Jeff Gordon and Hendrick fans be mad? Lets face it, y'all say that he cant drive, but owners are foaming at the mouth at the chance that he may not re-sign. Would y'all still say that he cant driver now that he's your favorite drivers team mate. Jeff himself has said that he would like to have him as a team mate, which means one thing, the guy can drive.

Scenrio, Hendrick drops Casey, puts Jr in the 25 with Budwieser on the hood. It would be fitting being that Budwieser did sponsor that car for a while. Again, this is a what if, I'm not looking for bashing, or Jr fans being pissed, I'm a Jr fan, but I want to see how Hendrick fans will respond.

I remember when free agency first started (thanks Catfish Hunter). Many thought it would be great for professional sports. Since then ticket prices have gotten to the point where many people can't afford to go to games. Meanwhile, salaries keep getting higher and higher and team owners are wanting the public to pay for new stadiums. Seriously now, who really needs $10 million a year or more to live on?

Even though I'm a Spurs fan, I have a lot of respect for Steve Nash. I was surprised today to hear his postgame comments, where he essentially called out his teammates, saying that some poeple on the team weren't playing the best that they could. He didn't name names, and Peter Veschey (sp?) on NbaTv agreed with his comments. I don't know a lot about the Suns... is there discord among the players? What was he talking about?

I purchased "The Life & Times of Secretariat" DVD and fell in love with that horse and the sport all over again. Reading some of the comments in the section, however, I'm worried I've fallen for a cruel pasttime.

Is it wrong to like horseracing? Must I stop?

The Cubs always have some reason to get their fans in a frenzy in the off season (big signings) to get their fans buzzing and to get pre-season ticket sales going strong.
