The Twins are doing better now than what they were last season at this time. They just need to have some players like Cuddyer, Rondell White, and Mauer come back and get more consistent hitting from Morneau and they could be right back up there. I am not all that concerned.

Unfortunately, injuries have taken their toll on the Twins. With one of their star pitchers (Liriano) and now catcher and A.L. batting champ Joe Mauer out, they face a rough road. It also doesn't help that Brad Radke opted to retire instead of coming back for one more year. If they can play around .500 til around the All-Star break, they may have a chance to win the division or the wild card. Their pitching is still the key to them doing anything.

Funny how MLB let the Tigers represent the American League last October.

It appears that the Twins not so good of a pitching staff is starting to show just their true colors. That rotation just isn't that good.
