An undefeated record or quality of opposition? Many cite Rocky Marciano's 49-0 record as proof positive that he was the greatest heavyweight ever. But what great champions wouldn't have been 49-0 against that opposition? Conversely, Muhammad Ali's opposition was devastating from stem to stern. A collection of beautiful boxers and devastating sluggers. I'm not so sure Rocky would have retired undefeated if he'd had to face the likes of Sonny Liston, George Foreman, Larry Holmes or Joe Frazier. Heck, Jimmy Ellis, Jimmy Young, Ron Lyle, George Chuvalo and Earnie Shavers could have made it a rough night for Rocky. Everyone else did, why not they?

The Rock was a great fighter, but he fought during one of the weakest stretches in the division's history. Charles, Louis, Walcott and Moore were all old men, well past their respective primes.

So I ask you, what is more important in determining greatness? Opposition or an undefeated record? Thanks all for listening to my bs!

Ok, we all know magicmarker is a loser who has no life and is bothering all us WWE fans. But the question is, what are WE going to do about this? This is just a thought. Give my question a star if you think magicmarker should leave Yahoo or at least this section. If so then everyone report him on one of his stupid questions/answers. (it won't be that hard to find one, just look for the word "dorky") Thanks for your time, and bye magicmarker, hope you get a life soon!

"The preparatory position of the body is very important to the jump shot and even at this point there is debate over foot position. Players are often told to square up toward the basket, even though it is commonly thought that a slightly staggered stance, rather than a completely square stance, facilitates a better jump shot. If the dominate foot is placed a little in front of the other foot, it is thought that the body will be more stable and better aligned. Ideally the ball, wrist, elbow, and shoulder should be on a plane aligned with the basket, and it is argued that this is best done in a staggered or homolateral stance rather than a completely squared stance."

Three rats are sitting at the bar talking bragging about their bravery and toughness.

The first says, "I'm so tough, once I ate a whole bagful of rat poison!"

The second says, "Well I'm so tough, once I was caught in a rat trap and I bit it apart!"

Then the third rat gets up and says, "Later guys, I'm off home to harass Ronaldinho!!

We have seen so many teams like Sri Lanka, Australia etc. who won World Cups & in the years that immediately followed, they were in top form and went on unbeaten streak for years. The less fortunate teams who didn't win have always been inconsistent & struggled to be a top-class team.

What in your opinion is the significance of the World Cup & why winning the World Cup could make teams into cricketing superpowers?

My sister has just moved on to a farm with her fiancee in Devon, UK. She has asked me to help out with pest control as they have seeds to be planting as well as chickens, and I have always been keen on target shooting (.22 only).

Bearing this in mind, which gun should I go for- a .22 air rifle, so I don't have to worry about licensing, a .22 rifle, so I'd have to get a firearms license, or a small-bore shotgun (shotgun license).

I imagine my main targets would be crows, foxes and maybe rabbits? Any advice? Thanks!

PS, whilst I was of average merit at target shooting I've never shot outdoors or over 25 yards- keep this in mind with humane kills/ accuracy!

Thanks

I guess they've said that the minute he acts up they'll release him, but still... it seems a chancy thing? Will we fans be cursing Coach B this season instead of praising him?

Yankee Tim Hendryx hit 2 OUT of the park homers on June 20 1917 vs Boston Red Sox.
Benny Kauff hit 2 in Game 4 of the 1917 World Series.
Did anyone else hit 2 or more in a game in 1917 ?
Is there a reference book with these records?
I bought the SABR home run encyclopedia, but the stats do no reveal the answer to this question.
