Hey, I'm not a Lions fan, but I feel for those who are.

My opinion is that yep, he's a great player, he'll be a great player, but why on Earth did the Lions draft him. Yes, some teams have the luck to be able to draft whomever is the best who is still on the board, but the Lions really need other things than just another WR. They need foremost an Offensive Line, because I believe that with that, they're QB wouldn't be too bad.

So, it's not that Calvin Johnson is bad, or that it's a bad pick, it's that people don't get why the Lions picked yet another WR when that is one of the things that they are actually pretty good at already.

all people who thinks that Calvin Johnson is more advantageous positive than Fitz is both that ignorant or mendacity to themselves. as an example, loads of Lions followers argue that Calvin Johnson might want to get stats more advantageous positive than Fitz or Andre Johnson if he had a QB. nicely, very last 12 months i might want to assert that Fitz had a worse QB difficulty than Calvin, and he nevertheless were given 13 more advantageous receptions, 17 more advantageous receiving yards (even although he did get 0.5 the TD's Johnson were given). Sorry, Lions followers, you are able to't use that as an situation anymore. even as i imagine that Calvin is the third perfect WR interior the NFL right now (in the back of Andre Johnson at #a million and Fitz at #2), he nevertheless has some artwork to do. Edit: @ per chance no longer - you would possibly want to inspect Boldin leaving as both a good looking good or undesirable element. He did share the numerous catches with Fitz, yet you even ought to bear in mind that he also took away the numerous insurance, as well. Now Fitz is per chance being double-teamed (perchance even triple-teamed at circumstances) basically because the Cardinals don't have the different threats on offense. If i grow to be Fitz i might want to a lot extremely have Boldin on my team extremely than no longer. also, to operate, per chance the most important income that Fitz has over Calvin is that he's more advantageous positive at operating routes. once Johnson receives his direction operating down he will be more advantageous positive than Fitz, yet for right now Larry is more advantageous positive.

Why would you trade away probably the best player in the draft? Calvin will be a star in the NFL, without doubt, keep him and build some of the O around him.

well there aren't many lions fans here to be honest.

They should get him to the bucks for a cornerback like brain kelly.
