If Quinn and Thomas turn out to the be the big deal they are labeled as it will be seen as a great draft.

The Browns did the smart thing by first drafting an offensive lineman. Then they got lucky with Brady Quinn staying on the board since Miami passed on him. After Miami, there were really no teams who were desperate for a quarterback. So, with him still on the board when Dallas came around, they knew Baltimore might be eyeing him, so they snapped him up. So, they got two good first round draft picks--a possible franchise QB and a hefty lineman to protect him.
Good for Dallas too, considering the picks they got out of it.
Poor Brady though, sliding all the way down to 22... Oh, well, GO BROWNS!!

The Browns got their behinds handed to them by the Cowboys in that big trade to get Brady Quinn.
I think that there are at LEAST two quarterbacks in the draft every year who are as good or better than Brady Quinn, and let's face it, the Browns' 2008 1st round pick that they traded to get Quinn is probably going to be a top 10 pick, so they could have just drafted a QB who is as good or better than Brady Quinn with that pick next year, and that way they wouldn't have to give up the 36th pick in this year's draft (that's almost a 1st round pick).
They basically just gave the Cowboys the #36 pick in this year's draft and got absolutely nothing in return. It is totally incomprehensible to me how so many people seem to think that the Browns had such an awesome draft. Joe Thomas was a good pick, and who knows, Brady Quinn might even turn out not to be a bust, but even if Quinn really is the next Tom Brady, the Browns gave up too much to get him.
The Browns' front office calls the Cowboys' front office "daddy."

they got 2 of the top 5 draft prospects in the draft i guess they did AMAZING.
