My daughter is signing up for Golf this summer. My daughter is 12 and is 4'8" tall. I know NOTHING about golf and I have no idea how club sizes work or anything.

Please help so I can purchase the right clubs.

I honestly think that one reason that the NHL is losing its fan basis is because of the sad excuse of a network Versus is. Under ESPN the NHL had a whole lot more publicity. Hockey is a great sport and it needs a great network. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I have read a complimentary article on Hot Stix Golf Fitters out of Scottsdale. I recently played with someone who was quite enthusiastic about the service they offered. However, they do not respond to e-mail. Their website has not been up dated and in fact appears very dated. Heard they bailed out on mobile vans appearances last summer.

So, are they still in business? Worth going to them? Why the dated website and lack of an event calendar?

Now I beleive that fighting is wrong period... The commisioner of hockey made it quite clear that fighting , which includes eye gauging, sticks to the face a black eye, missing teeth and many bloody noses, is part of the game. And people are more or less cool with this. But when we talk about players fighting in basketball its almost like they should be banned for life becuase they have no behavior. Even baseball and football we look past the eye gauging and the brawls on the mound. But if you fight in basketball you are considered some sort of a street hoodlum who probably listens to too much rap.... why?

I remember reading something a while back saying that by year 20XX all cable channels are required to be broadcasting in High-Definition. Anyone know when this is?

Also, any ideas why sporting events (NHL particularly, not so much the NFL) decide to air some games in HD and some in Standard Def? I was watching the Pittsburgh Penguins this past sunday on NHL on NBC in high-def. After the Penguins were up 5-0, and having NBC decide to switch to another game (WHAT THE!!) they switch it back in lousy Standard Def.

Why do networks do this, and is this something that will be resolved once this 'all HD' law is official?

i bought a 150 dollar mongoose mountain bike it was shocks in the front and they r not very strong.i bottom out on everything.so my question is:is it possible to replace those shocks with better ones at a reasonble price?
