He already passed Babe. He's going after Hank Arron's record and NOOOOO. I don't want to see him break it. He's roided up and anyone that says you can't prove it is just in denial. 35 year old men don't put on 40+ pounds of muscle in just over a year by just hitting the weights. Good news is that Pujols or A-Rod have very good chances of toppling Bonds as long as they can stay healthy.

To the people that say he never used steriods and that there is no proof are 100% wrong. I know that I am not in the right context here as in syringe and HGH like everyone is thinking about, but it has been proven that Bonds has used an illegal substance (steriods, "the clear") as he testified in front of a grand jury. This is a lot more evidence than they had on McGwire who failed miserably to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

To answer the question about Bonds, I would not like to see him break Aaron's record but that's mostly because I am a Dodger fan and I can't stand the guy.To his credit, if he wasn't walked and pitched around so much he would've easily passed it by now.

As far as I'm concerned, Hank Aaron holds the record of 755 followed by Babe Ruth with 714 and Willie Mays with 660. The list goes on from there.

Breaking the home run record is probably a foregone conclusion. However I absolutely do not want to see him break the record. He has cheated and his name doesn't belong in the same breath as Hank Aaron.

Yes, of course, he is a first ballot hall of famer if you take away his last 4 years anyway. He still has not been tested positive for steroids or brought up on any charges but others have and we do not hear about them that much ..uhmm. So let the witch hunt end and enjoy the record being broke.

Despite the steroid issues I have to say that this is a very, very big thing BB breaking a record like that. You are very lucky to be able to witness something of this magnitude.I don't think hes worthy of the record but I will be able to say that I did see it

I want to see Barry Bonds just end the crap and start taking the drugs right out in the open.

(It's Hank Aaron)

No because it would bring shame to baseball. A man who took steroids should not be awarded the home run crown of history. It's not right or fair. Aaron and Ruth didn't take anything (as far as we know at least) and it would just be a bad experience for the MLB.

It will be a hollow meaningless record. Even if the juicing only increased his power by 5% that means tons of foul balls staying fair, and tons more on the warning track making it out of the park.
