I never used to watch basketball, but I have been watching some of the NCAA games and I really like it. It's a sport that I have never had much interest for, but I really like it now that I have watched some of the game's. The only problem is that I don't understand everything that the commentators are talking about, and I still don't understand how the whole NCAA system works. Do teams from the West region play teams from the East, or are they completely separate until the final game in Atlanta? Also how does the NCAA brackets work? How do people know which teams to choose when they fill them out, even if the teams haven't played? I'm 15 and the only sport I have been involved with is soccer, so I would like to get more involved with basketball.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can understand it better, or is it too late now because I’m 15? Most kids I know that like basketball, have been involved with it since they young.
