Pujols is the ONLY answer here. The man is a monster at the plate and is just now hitting his prime.

On the way back, do NOT go Bay as suggested. You'll be paying on the basis of a good 2005. 06 was not so good. Steals down and average down. He's not moving the right direction. He is probably more worth a 4th round pick.

Instead, I would look to grab one offense and one pitcher. For pitcher, if you can nab Carpenter, it would be perfect. Otherwise, Roy Oswalt, Halladay, or Zambrano are good. And for the hitter, Derek Jeter would be the dream. He'll be gone most likely, though. Carlos Lee may be there. Houston will be kind to his numbers. Ichiro's a good 5-category contributer who may be around as well.

You have to take Albert Pujols. He is so consistent. Will put up 45 homers .300 average, and lots of hits. The guy is just an absolute monster. On the way back, take either Derek Jeter(although he may not be there) Jason Bay, or another big bat.

Good luck with your draft.

Pujols or David Ortiz

I would take Albert Puljos 1B of St Louis///he has great numbers and if you don't take him your making a huge mistake. He is generally the number one rated player in baseball followed
by Santana SP of Minnesota, Jose Reyes SS NY Mets and A. Soriano OF Cubs.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Soriano or Utley, both give more balance in all types of leagues, plus they both play in 'hitters' parks. There is a big drop off in 2B after Utley.Good Luck

you have to take pujols, he is the man that are going to put your team on the roof. in the 2 round look for C. Lee, he is going to take the place of pujols in case got injured, and in the 3 round look Bay.

Pujols is the ONLY choice here. Triple crown threats don't come around often
